General and Internal Medicine
We provide both inpatient and outpatient services with 5 stalls in outpatient bay and 10 stalls in our medicine barn. We also provide full diagnostics and medical care including endoscopy, digital radiography and ultrasound. Our laboratory provides on-site hematology, microbiology and chemistry that allows a quick and accurate diagnosis.
Lameness
We see a broad range of breeds in our practice including: Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, gaited horses, warmbloods, ponies, etc. We offer up-to-date diagnostic imaging as well as the latest treatments including shockwave, game-ready and IRAP therapies.
Intensive Care
Our facility provides 4 climate-controlled stalls with around-the-clock care for all ranges of patient needs, including pulmonary, abdominal, neurologic and opthalmology cases.
Neonatal Care
We provide full and comprehensive neonatal care for weak or sick foals with around-the-clock care and monitoring. Our accommodations include climate-controlled stalls with foal beds.
Isolation Facilities
The hospital grounds include a 3 stall isolation barn which is totally separate from the rest of the facility. We strictly follow biosecurity protocols to protect our patients from infectious agents.
Ophthalmology
From the basic ophthalmic exams to ophthalmic injuries, our clinic and doctors are equipped to handle all needs as they arise. Unique to the gaited mountain horse breeds, A.S.D. (Anterior Segment Dysgenesis) is evaluated and diagnosed by our veterinarians. Since 1998, Dr. Park has performed over 3,000 ophthalmic exams on Rocky Mountain Horses, Kentucky Mountain Horses and Mountain Pleasure Horses for A.S.D.
